NEWCASTLE AUDIENCES SET FOR A SWASHBUCKLING ADVENTURE!
Peter Pan
Newcastle Theatre Royal
Tuesday 28th November 2017 – Sunday 21st January 2018
Panto audiences are in for a high-energy treat as Newcastle Theatre Royal reveal that next year’s festive extravaganza will be Peter Pan. Seasonal favourites Danny Adams, Clive Webb, and Chris Hayward will once again thrill audiences in the North East’s biggest and most spectacular pantomime.
Audiences have been going wild for Peter Pan ever since the advanced booking date opened to Theatre Royal Friends, Groups and Advantage members and with tickets going on general sale on Tue 22 Nov, the Theatre is getting its Box Office staff ready for an extra busy period.
Theatre Royal pantomimes are among the fastest-selling in the UK, due to the winning combination of father and son team Clive and Danny and their hilarious slapstick routines, Chris’ outrageous costumes and the special effects provided by The Twins FX alongside spectacular sets, magnificent dance routines and chroeography and the sensational musical scores. This combination is brought together by Newcastle’s own Michael Harrison, who co-writes, produces and directs the show.
Chief Executive Philip Bernays said: “The popularity of our panto is testimony to the quality of both the actors and creative team. It is wonderful to see that year on year our sales are going from strength to strength and Cinderella, which opens on 22 Nov, has already broken box office records and we are sure that audiences are going to be quick off the mark to snap up tickets for Peter Pan and join Clive, Danny and Chris on an unmissable adventure to Neverland!”
Peter Pan will see Danny Adams play the title role, Clive Webb play Smee and Chris Hayward play Mrs Smee in what promises to be a non-stop adventure that is sure to delight all the family.
Peter Pan is produced by Qdos Entertainment, the world’s largest pantomime producer, which will stage 24 productions throughout the UK this Christmas.
