Stockton ARC offer accessible performances for Christmas family show
The Snow Dragon
Stockton ARC
Tuesday 6th - Tuesday 20th December 2016
ARC’s Christmas family show, The Snow Dragon, will have a relaxed performance which is suitable for children with Autism and a BSL performance for people who are hard of hearing.
The accessible shows have been introduced as part of ARC’s commitment to increasing opportunities for learning disabled people through the venue’s three year Cultural Shift programme.
A BSL interpreted performance will take place on Saturday 10 December at 2.30pm and a relaxed performance will take place on Sunday 18 December at 11.30am.
The Snow Dragon from Tall Stories theatre, is a wonderfully festive show full of delights for children from 3+, and there’s plenty of interaction and lots of sing along songs for all the family to join in with.
Join young Billy the goat as he excitedly waits for his annual visit from The Snow Dragon who is on his way to deliver presents to all the boys and girls in the town, but as the special night approaches, Billy must help the Snow Dragon get past some mean wolves who want to steal all of Billy’s presents.
Tall Stories created fascinating and fun family shows from ages 3 and up, and they are the company who brought Julia Donaldson’s The Gruffalo to the stage.
