PUG#2
Newcastle Tyneside Irish Centre
Friday 27th January 2017

PUG is an alternative variety night in the centre of Newcastle. A dynamic evening of charm and contrast with a line-up of comedy, dance, art and things-in-between. PUG is a party. It’s about coming together, challenging each other, having a dance, a laugh and maybe making a new best friend*.
*One and only dog reference.
Don’t miss the first PUG of 2017 at the Tyneside Irish Centre on 27th January at 7.30pm
PUG is hosted by North East based theatre makers Hannah Walker and Rosa Postlethwaite, with resident DJ Jamie Cook

PUG#2 also presents performances from Tara Fatehi IraniMatt Miller and Company of Others II

Hannah and Rosa devise new work that straddles theatre and live art. Inspired by the alternative cabaret scene they make shows that are as effervescent and potent as their drinks. An audience member described their work as ‘funny, glossy and honest’. They think this is something to aim for.

*Performances contain explicit language and adult themes including violence, which some viewers may find disturbing.
