Earlier this year, Tyne Theatre & Opera House announced the return of Sarah Millican to the venue in 2018 for six performances of her brand new stand-up show, Control Enthusiast. With tickets flying out for the six shows, the 150 year old theatre is extremely excited to announce an additional date for the much-loved comedian, on Sunday 8^th July.  

Sarah Millican is not a control freak, she's a control enthusiast. She even controls her own insults, see?

Do you arrange the nights out? Are you in charge of passports on holiday? Then so are you!

Whether you’re sorting the tickets for this show or turning up when you’re told to, welcome. You’ll learn about Rescue Men, farting in hospital pants, what can happen at a bra fitting, the benefits of casserole, plus tips on how to talk to shop assistants and the correct way to eat a biscuit.

Funny, frank and unapologetically filthy.

Sarah Millican is the latest comic to be added to Tyne Theatre & Opera House’s star-studded stand-up comedy line-up for 2018. There’s something to get everyone laughing out loud, with the likes Jon Richardson, Katherine Ryan, Ed Byrne, Tim Vine and Britain’s Got Talent finalist Daliso Chaponda just some of the fantastic comedy names on offer at the theatre in 2018.

Theatre Director Joanne Johnson says: “This is now Sarah’s 7^th date here for 2018 – last year she performed 11 nights and they all sold out! She even recently held her book launch here in association with Waterstones, which was a wonderful night. It means an awful lot to us that Sarah chooses to come back to our beautiful 150 year old theatre, and we’re very grateful for her continued support.”

Tickets for Sunday 8^th July 2018 go on general sale Wednesday 8^th November from 10am.

Tickets for Friday 6^th – Sunday 8^th April and Thursday 5^th – Saturday 7^th July are already on sale, though availability is very limited.
