This show brings the glamour of Hollywood's golden age and the glorious tap dancing magic of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers to the stage in one of the greatest dance musicals of all time. Packed full of Irving Berlins greatest hits including, Cheek to Cheek, Top Hat White Tie and Tails, Lets Face the Music and Dance and Puttin on the Ritz.

The musical is based upon the 1935 film of the same name starring Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers in the roles of Jerry and Dale, with music by Irving Berlin. The musical stage show was performed 76 years after the original film following long protracted negotiations with Irving Berlin's estate.

In Top Hat, we follow the celebrated American Stage performer Jerry Travers (James Forster) as he arrives in London to appear in a stage show from producer Horace Hardwick (Andrew Fearon).

Bates (Jonathan Cash) Horace Hardwick (Andrew Fearon)
Madge Hardwick (Helen Cash ) Dale Tremont (Bethanie
Johnson) Jerry Travers (James Forster)
Alberto Beddini (Charles Doherty)
In this screwball comedy however, things do not go according to plan!  Pretty soon a case of mistaken identity and romance sends things off course. Jerry attempts to win the heart of Dale Tremont (Bethanie Johnson)  a model  for the fashion designer  Alberto Beddini (Charles Doherty). Dale mistakes Jerry for Horace a married man and because of this is horrified by his advances as he attempts to gain her hand in marriage. Madge Harwick (Helen Cash), is the sophisticated and witty wife of the bumbling Horace Hardwick. Bates (Jonathan Cash) plays the eccentric manservant donning various comic disguises to spy on the glamourous Dale.
