It’s
very hard to tour topical material these days. For musical comedy satirists
Jonny & the Baptists, it’s been a real nightmare. Every time they try to
write something silly about the world, the world does something even sillier.

Either
way, this spring they’re heading out on tour with lots of new songs (and some
old ones) to try to make sense of the mess.
A
riotous new tour playing limited dates, from the multi-award-nominated musical
comedians – live circuit favourites, Radio 4 regulars and stars of the BBC’s
Live at Television Centre.

The
show comes after another stellar year for the satirical rockers, including two
sell-out tours as part of political comedy-music supergroup Lefty Scum, releasing brand new album
‘Songs for the Apocalypse’ and touring wtih a full band, transferring their
Christmas show Thirty Christmases to
London and their last full-length show Eat
The Poor playing a 50-date nationwide tour. Alongside, Donahoe’s hit
one-man show Every Brilliant Thing was
broadcast as an HBO TV Special and released on Sky Arts in May 2017.
