Why not kick start the festive fun with a visit to wonderful family blockbuster Chitty Chitty Bang Bang? Full of colourful characters such as the delightful Truly Scrumptious, the creative Caractacus Potts, lovable Grandpa Potts, Jeremy & Jemima, the sinister Child Catcher and the vicious, child- hating Baron and Baroness of Vulgaria –  not to mention the star of the show, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang itself- whats not to like?

There is something for all the family in this feel-good musical. With brilliant songs by those musical maestros the Sherman Brothers including Truly Scrumptious, Toot Sweets, Me ‘Ol Bamboo, Chu Chi Face and, of course the song you will all want to join in with, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, the book by Ian Fleming, adapted for stage by Jeremy Sams – put it all together and you have the perfect ingredients for a cracking family night out.

Jeremy and Jemima want to rescue the car from Mr. Coggins’ junkyard but they must raise the princely sum of 30 shillings to do so. They meet Truly Scrumptious whilst they are there, who is upset to see them out of school and takes them home. As they leave, two Vulgarian spies enter. They have been searching for the legendary car for years and are determined to get it before the children. It is a race to see who can get the car first….if you want to know who gets it then come and see the show! Well we can’t give it all away now, can we?

The plot rackets along apace, charting the developing relationship between Truly and Caractacus and the battle between good and evil, with a few red herrings thrown in for good measure.

Book your seats early to make sure you get the best view for this magical musical – see you in Vulgaria!
