Santa’s Naughty Elf is
putting his stamp on a traditional tale this year. Wayne Miller marked 10 years of playing
Elfluent in various Santa’s Naughty Elf productions at The Customs House last
year. Now he’s back in The Naughty Elves and the Shoemaker,
which runs from Saturday 30th November to Tuesday 24th December.

The show will feature
original storytelling music by north east singer/songwriter Jen Stevens, who serves
as musical director as well as the narrator and Mrs Shoemaker. Sean Kenney joins the cast as Mr Shoemaker
and Katie Reed will play Elflorida the Elf.
Wayne said: “A decade of
Santa’s Naughty Elf has come and gone and it’s been a real honour and pleasure
to create and play this character. What’s new for everyone’s favourite elf this
year though? Well, every year there has
been a new story and new adventure, however this year is a new adventure but an
old story. We decided this year to put Elfluent in a well-known story with the
chance of a new calamity. We have lots
of festive fun on offer that will hopefully please the fans who come every year
and attract first-timers to keep coming back.
I’m truly excited to have this great cast with me along for the ride, we
hope many grab their tickets and join us too this Christmas. Elfluent promises
that it’s a little panto for little people that’s not to be missed!”
