Northumberland’s only adult pantomime returns this month to the Seaton Delaval Arts Centre with a brand-new production of A-LAD-IN. From the team behind last year’s sell out production of Sinderella, this red-hot panto brings a whole new meaning to the phrase ‘it’s behind you!’ Packed full of innuendo and laugh out loud comedy, it’s the perfect night out for grown up boys and girls to enjoy.

Abendover, an evil Egyptian magician, has a magical ring. All he needs to rule the world is a rather rubbable lamp that has been hidden away for many years somewhere dark and damp. One rub of the lamp and the holder can have any wish granted but he needs to find a boy to do his dirty work. Meanwhile, Aladdin dreams of marrying the beautiful Princess, but could a penniless laundry boy ever hope to have the hand of a Royal?

The show is packed full of glitz and glamor, songs you know and love, stunning dance routines, side splitting comedy and plenty of audience participation.  Due to popular demand last year’s cast are back for another night of rude fun and frolics, plus there are double the amount of shows this year to join. And be warned, this is no ordinary panto. The show is not for the easily offended, containing adults themes, strong language and is only suitable for those aged 18 and over.
